Course Program
The CAP Virtual Course will run online (via Zoom Meetings) from 3 to 14 August 2020. We have prepared a brief guide for you to ensure you have the best experience. Please read the system requirements before beginning the course.
All sessions (except How to Pass CAP Q&A) will run from 1.00pm to 5.00pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time AEST). Get to know the presenters.

Compulsory Session Attendance
All students enrolled in Semester 2 2020 as their first CAP attempt will need to attend Contextualisation and Communication sessions on 3 and 4 August 2020.
The How To Pass CAP Q & A on 14 August 2020 will be optional and will be from 1.00pm to 2.00pm (AEST).
Syndicate Session Selections
Students enrolled in Semester 2 2020 as their first CAP attempt will:
- Choose THREE non-traditional topics from Banking, Data Analytics, ESG, & Health.
- Choose ONE of ERM or Investment.
- Choose ONE of General Insurance, Life Insurance or GRIS.
Students whose enrolment was deferred in Semester 1 2020 or are returning are as a repeat student can choose ONE of the following five traditional topics to attend:
- ERM
- Investment
- General Insurance
- Life Insurance
- GRIS
Students will need to make their syndicate selections on the Learning Management System (LMS) before midnight Friday 3 July 2020.
Post Course Assignment (PCA)
The Post Course Assignment (PCA) will be distributed to students via email and published on the LMS on Friday 14 August 2020 at 3:00pm (AEST).
Students will need to submit the PCA to the LMS by 5.00pm (AEST) on Thursday 27 August 2020.
Course Enrolment
Enrolment for the CAP Virtual Course is open to student members from Monday 1 June – Monday 29 June 2020.
