 | Audette Exel was elected a Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum, is a founder of the Adara Group, established in 1998, and Chief Executive Officer of its Australian corporate advisory businesses, Adara Advisors Pty Limited and Adara Partners (Australia) Pty. Limited. The Adara businesses were established as “for purpose” businesses with the principle objective of supporting Adara Development. Adara Development is focussed on improving health and education for women, children and communities living in poverty, through best practice service delivery, conducting world-class research and sharing knowledge globally. Audette Exel is a lawyer by profession specialising in international finance. She was formerly Managing Director of one of Bermuda’s three banks, and also acted as chair of the Bermuda stock exchange. She is one of the youngest women in the world to have run a publicly-traded bank. Audette is a Non-Executive Director of Suncorp Group Limited, an ASX 20 company. Audette was formerly Vice Chairman of the Board of Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Trustee (Bermuda) Limited (for 18 years). Audette was NSW Telstra Businesswoman of the Year 2012 and was one of The Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence in 2012. In 2013, Audette was awarded an honorary Order of Australia for service to humanity and in 2014 was recognised by Forbes as a "Hero of Philanthropy". In 2015, Audette was inducted into the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame, and was a recipient of a World Class New Zealander Award. Most recently, Audette was named Australia’s 2016 ‘Leading Philanthropist’ by Philanthropy Australia. |
 | Dr Bill Monday is presently Chief Medical Officer for Pacific Life Re Australia, a position he has held since November 2016. As way of background Bill qualified from Cape Town University in 1987 and continued post graduate studies at Wits Medical school in Johannesburg as a Medical Registrar in cardiology, cardiothoracic and renal transplant units. Bill joined the insurance industry in 1997 and since then he has acted as CMO both in insurance and reinsurance in the South African and Australian markets Bill enjoys the varied aspects of insurance medicine with a particular interest in knowledge transfer and keeping the insurance industry abreast of advances and trends in medicine. |
 | Julia Lessing is currently the Director of Guardian Actuarial, an actuarial consulting firm that provides specialist analysis to support and inform planning and delivery of human services. Julia is a qualified actuary (FIAA) with more than a decade of consulting experience. After starting her actuarial career consulting to life insurance and wealth management clients, she has extended her actuarial consulting skills to focus on human and social services clients, such as state government agencies responsible for helping our community’s most vulnerable people. Julia is skilled in managing large projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. Her passion for human services stems from her desire to support and contribute to her local community. Julia’s long history of volunteer work ranges from being a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporter to promoting the actuarial profession to high school students. Julia is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University. In her spare time, she is completing a Masters in Policy and Applied Social Research. |
 | Professor Niki Ellis is an occupational and public health physician. She has worked on mental health in the workplace in various capacities since she was the National Director for the RSI Strategy in the 1980s. Over that time she has led the development of a number of evidence-based national guidelines on the prevention and management of mental health in the workplace. Niki was the foundation professor and CEO of the Centre for Military and Veterans’ Health at the University of Queensland, and at ISCRR at Monash. She is now, amongst other things, the Work for Health Advisor for Comcare. |
 | Richard Enthoven is the Founder of The Hollard Insurance Company and the co‐founder of Greenstone Ltd. He currently serves as the CEO of The Hollard Insurance Company and is the Executive Chairman of Greenstone. He has also served as a director of The Hollard Insurance Company and The Hollard Life Insurance Company in South Africa since 2004, including Chairman of both companies from 2008 to 2014.
Richard is also a director of the Insurance Council of Australia and serves on the Advisory Board of Head Over Heels, a not‐for‐profit organisation that supports a portfolio of high-potential women‐owned businesses. Richard is also a director of the Ascham School Council of Governors that supports Ascham School to provide a strong academic program within a friendly, inclusive culture.

 | Dr Derek Lovell holds Fellowships of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and Australasian College of Legal Medicine. He is a former Federal Secretary of the Forensic section of RANZCP. He is also a co-author of the Psychiatric Impairment Rating Scale(PIRS) which was adopted in AMA 6 Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment. He has worked as a forensic psychiatrist in a variety of settings since 1996 and provides independent medical assessments. He has a particular interest in CTP and income protection claims. He now works through MLCOA in Brisbane and Canberra and consults to the insurance industry via Caseworks. |
 | Geoff Summerhayes was appointed a Member of APRA from 1 January 2016 for a five-year term. Mr Summerhayes was Chief Executive Officer of Suncorp Life from 2008 to 2015, as well as being a director of Suncorp Portfolio Services Ltd and of Asteron Life NZ. Before joining Suncorp he held a number of senior roles at the National Australia Bank (NAB) in strategy, product and distribution. Prior to that he was CEO of Retail Investment at MLC and also held senior roles at Lend Lease. Mr Summerhayes was a director of the Financial Services Council (FSC) and was co-chair of their Life Board Committee. He was also a member of the FSC-Association of Financial Advisors’ Life Insurance and Advice Working Group, chaired by former APRA Member John Trowbridge, formed to review advice in the life insurance industry. |

 | Mick Stephenson ASM is Executive Director Emergency Operations, Ambulance Victoria. Mick commenced his career with Ambulance Victoria in 1996 as a paramedic, becoming a Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedic in 1999. A former intensive care nurse his special interests lie in algorithmic patient care, cardiac arrest improvements, systematic patient assessment and the validation of paramedic work through research. He is a co-author and researcher on a number of clinical trials of international significance. He has a strong interest in workplace health and safety including the prevention and management of psychological injury in paramedics. He has held many positions as a MICA paramedic and senior manager and is currently the Executive Director Emergency Operations with AV. Mick was awarded the Ambulance Service Medal in the Australia Day Honours 2015 for his contribution to improving patient care and clinical outcomes. |
 | Henk Kleynhans is a recovering engineer and information junkie. In 2005 he founded Skyrove, a South African WiFi hotspot company that enables anyone to make money by sharing their WiFi with their neighbours. He’s played various product and marketing roles in the fields of education, transport, media and software. He’s an angel investor in BlinkTower, an animation studio; Conversio, a startup that monetizes email receipts and Circle Medical, an "Uber for doctors" based in San Francisco. He’s worked at Atlassian as a Senior Product Manager and joined CBA’s Innovation Lab last year, where he recently led a Smart Cities Design Thinking project. Outside of work, Henk has volunteered for various community and industry organisations and he once managed to successfully change a politicians mind. |
 | Martin Fahy is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). Martin joined ASFA in November 2016 and prior to this was a Managing Consulting Partner at KPMG where he worked with clients across financial services and other sectors to drive transformational change.
Martin has specialised in driving transformational change to deliver cost savings and has presented at more than 500 industry and academic conferences. He has published five books, three monographs and numerous articles.
Martin was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland in 2001. He holds a Ph.D in Information Systems from University College Cork as well as undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Information Systems and Accounting from the NUI. He was a Senior Fulbright Scholar at Montana State University. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology Sydney, where he is also Chair of the Centre for Management and Organisation Studies (CMOS) Advisory Board. |
