International Actuarial Association (IAA)

Australian actuaries play a strong role in the activities of the International Actuarial Association (IAA), the worldwide association of professional actuarial associations which encourages the development of a global profession.

The IAA’s Forums are to share ideas on specific topics of interest to actuaries to support the advancing of the profession globally.  As at January 2021, three Forums are active – the Pension and Employee Benefits Forum, the Enterprise and Financial Risk Forum and the General Insurance Forum.  It is expected that additional Forums will be established during 2021.
