The 2019 Year in Review provides a comprehensive look at the many great achievements of the profession and individual Members of the Institute in 2019.
The profession has continued to advance in 2019, capturing the attention of business leaders and policymakers, as well as earning media coverage from Actuaries Institute thought leadership publications, papers from individual members, the Australian Actuaries Climate Index and other commentary on important public policy issues.
The implementation of the Education Strategy Review, responding to the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry and building our actuarial community was a key focus for 2019. There was significant achievements across all these areas and this progress will define the profession for the year ahead and into the future.
